Shaping Operations: snipers, buggies, ornithopters and the ammo crate in the Broodworks
The Landsraad contract in the Sandflies fortress: a map with the four sniper towers, the buggy garage, three ornithopters and the ammo crate.
A Landsraad Sabotage contract: in the Broodworks you take out the snipers on four watchtowers, sabotage two buggies in the garage and three ornithopters, then destroy an ammo crate. Below is the fortress map with all nine targets. Reward: 1,000 Landsraad points and 6,000 Solari.

The plan is built from the game levels; lighter means higher. Zoom with the wheel or two fingers, drag to move. Pick a step to see only its points; click a name to show it.
Step by step
- Travel to the Broodworks. Pick the fortress on the Overland Map. You arrive on the sand south-west of it: .
- Take out the snipers. The four watchtowers stand on the wall along the fortress's southern edge: the , , and ones. Each has a Sand Fly Sniper; any order.
- Sabotage two buggies. They stand in the garage in the south-east of the fortress: the and the . Walk up and choose "Sabotage".
- Sabotage three ornithopters. The is on a guarded pad in the east of the fortress. The and are on the upper tier in the north, about 120 m above the sand. One of them is behind a pentashield door: it opens with the purple ID band from the top floor of the cliff building (the same one Decapitation Strike needs).
- Destroy the ammo crate. The is down in the north of the fortress. An ambush triggers once you sabotage it.
- Exit the area. It counts at the , outside the fortress.
Before you go
- Snipers first. The buggies open only after all four snipers, the ornithopters after both buggies, the crate after the third ornithopter.
- The first ornithopter's pad is guarded. A Sandflies group stands next to it, and another one in the north, not far from the ammo crate.
- Sabotage Houses give this contract: Wydras, Mutelli, Richese, Vernius and Spinnette.
