Living off the Land: fuel, water and the downed ornithopter in the Broodworks

Step by step

1. Travel to the Broodworks. Pick the fortress on the Overland Map. You arrive on the sand south-west of it: arrival point.
2. Eastern Garage and fuel. The garage is in the fortress's south-east corner, about 330 m from the arrival point. The fuel cells are there too: harvest 12. The contract asks for the cutteray, but harvesting with any handheld tool counts.
3. Depot and water. The Logistics Depot is in the centre of the fortress. Next to it is the water tank: choose "Steal" and a Water container lands in your inventory.
4. The downed ornithopter. The wreck lies by the western watchtower. Take it apart with the cutteray: that's how the contract counts "destroy".
5. Exit the area. It counts at the arrival point, outside the fortress.

Before you go

• Bring a cutteray. You can't destroy the ornithopter wreck without it.
• The order is strict. The depot opens after the fuel, and the ornithopter after the water.
• Watch the towers. While you take the ornithopter apart, snipers on the nearby towers shoot at you, and a gunner often waits by the garage. If you also have Shaping Operations, take the snipers out first.
• Gathering Houses give this contract: Kenola, Dyvetz, Wayku, Sor and Tseida.
