Terminal Velocity: the three wrecked sandbikes and the experimental engine
A Landsraad contract on the Smuggler's Run island: a map with the three sandbikes to scan, where the engine is and where the sniper ambush comes from.
A Landsraad Gathering contract: on the Smuggler's Run island you find and scan three wrecked sandbikes. The third is the one the House member crashed on: you salvage the experimental engine from it. An ambush follows. Below is the island map with all three sandbikes. Reward: 1,000 Landsraad points and 6,000 Solari.

What you take
Experimental Sandbike Engine
The engine comes out of the third sandbike. The first two only need a scan.
Step by step
- Travel to Smuggler's Run. Pick the island on the Overland Map. You arrive by the on the sand to the south-west.
- First sandbike: north. high on the rocks near the island's northern edge. Walk up and scan it.
- Second sandbike: west. , in the western part of the island. Scanner again.
- Third sandbike: south. , near the south of the island. Scan it, salvage the experimental engine and examine the next to it.
- Fight off the ambush. As soon as you examine the marks, four Maas Kharet attack: a Sniper, a Zealot and two Fanatics. from the east; the shoots from the north-east, about 60 m away.
- Return to the ornithopter. The contract completes at the .
Before you go
- The scanner is a must. "Scan the sandbike" only counts with the scanner; walking up is not enough.
- Mind the Sniper. While you deal with the fighters up close, he shoots from afar: keep cover between you and him.
- Gathering Houses give this contract: Kenola, Dyvetz, Wayku, Sor and Tseida.
